Kris Hansen Kollective

The Kris Hansen Kollective

"Hansen and Giusti's latest effort (with friend Richard Ribb on bass) is titled Kris Hansen's Left Hand Band Presents The Kollective, and Hansen intends to proudly roll with the Kollective moniker until further notice. "The Kollective is not a set unit but a set core with changing performers" states the website (MySpace.com/KrisHansenMusic), so who knows who or what to expect at upcoming gigs...a tight-knit jazzy/folky-type trio. Their 08 self-titled debut (at CDbaby.com and iTunes) zigged and zagged across acoustic blues and roots-rock, with Hansen's pen celebrating a second chance at life after the Scituate native battled a near-fatal brain aneurysm on the eve of his 24th birthday" (From the Providence Phoenix (August 12, 2009) - Chris Conti)

Sol 18

Sol 18

An independent four-piece from Providence, Rhode Island, Sol 18 is a hybrid of Latin, Pop, Caribbean and Rock music. Sol 18 wants to give through their music. Like the Sun, they want to reach out to everyone; no matter Race, Color or Language. They’ll make your days warm and full of Love. They'll be the cure to your pain, the space where you can feel safe with the sound of a song. They want to be your Sol...

Tim Taylor Tim Taylor Blues Band
The blues scene just received a tremendous lift with Tim Taylor's new ensemble. Taylor, a leading interpreter of traditional blues harmonica and front man for some of New England's best blues musicians, has taken a quantum leap with the addition of 22 year old Marlie Wänseth to his recent performances. Accompanied by guitar veteran Tom Ferraro (High Rollers), the versatile John Packer (Duke Robillard Band) on bass, and Mookie Kane's solid roots drumming.

Tim Taylor Sean P. Rogan
Voted Best Singer/Songwriter in this year's Providence Phoenix, Semi Finalist in the 2009 WBRU Rock Hunt, and overall nice guy...Sean P. Rogan. From campfires to coffee shops, Sean's music is soulful, positive and always fun. Rogan has also been playing guitar in his band "Big D and the Kids Table" for the past 14 years. All of his songs are available for free download at www.seanprogan.com.
Santa Mamba

Santa Mamba

baylock

Baylock
Baylock creates a sound that focuses on diversity, melody and creativity. Baylock’s mind set and sound promote open mindedness and acceptance both in and out of the realm of music. Baylock has already made a name for themselves in Providence and are expanding to greater New England at a fast pace, opening for bands such as Badfish, Moshav, and Zox. In between shows the band has begun its first album, recording each song shortly after it is written, this process has allowed them to grasp their unique but universal sound. The songs arise from separate yet complimentary writing styles that provide for boundary bending songs enhanced by strong harmonies.
