2011 Junior Solar Sprint at the Compass School, 537 Old North Rd, Kingston, RI

Driving directions from Providence and points North:

1. Take Route 95 SOUTH toward Warwick.
2. Stay left for exit 9 to merge onto Route 4 SOUTH to North Kingstown. Stay on Route 4 South for approximately 10 miles.
3. Stay straight to merge onto Route 1 SOUTH (also called Tower Hill Road). Stay on Route 1 South for approximately 3.2 miles. You will pass the exit for Route 138 East.
4. Take a RIGHT onto Route 138 WEST (also called Mooresfield Road). There will be a light at this intersection with a gas station and a shopping plaza pharmacy on the corners. Follow Route 138 West for approximately 3 miles.
5. Turn RIGHT onto Old North Road.
6. The University of Rhode Island Campus (and some Eco-Fair parking) will on your left and the Compass School is located approximately three miles on your right.

Driving directions from points South:

1. Take Route 95 NORTH toward Providence.
2. Take exit 3A. Bear right off the exit ramp onto Route 138 EAST (also called Kingstown Road). Follow Route 138 East for approximately 10 miles. You will pass the University of Rhode Island main campus on your left.
3. Turn LEFT onto Old North Road.
4. The University of Rhode Island Campus (and some Eco-Fair parking) will on your left and the Compass School is located approximately three miles on your right.

RIPTA Bus Information:

Bus Route #66 operates from Kennedy Plaza in Providence directly to URI’s campus in Kingston. There is an 8:05am and a 9:05am bus on Saturday that will both get you to the school in time for the start of the race. There is a shuttle that can take you from the URI parking lot to the school or you can enjoy the walk!
